❤ Happy Birthday, Dr. Suess! ❤
Learning is fun! The cat in the hat knows a lot about that....our Quarter Notes know it's fun, too! The class celebrated READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY and Dr. Suess. March 2nd would gave been the author's 116th birthday. The kids made funny Cat in the Hat masks out of paper plates. They used scissors to cut white stripes, then glued them onto their red hats. Friends are doing a great job cutting with scissors.
Thank you to Maddie's family for bringing in special snacks on Wednesday. We had a great time singing Happy Birthday to our friend. Happy Birthday, Maddie! 🎂
The Quarter Notes have been working hard on their art show artwork. We do a little bit of art every day so the clay, paint, and glue can dry throughout the day. We can't wait to show you! 🎨
We counted twelve "doughnuts" on our David Donald Doo worksheet (The doughnuts were really Cheerios). It was fun to count, and eat, our math! 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩
"Today, you are you. That is truer than true. There is no one alive that is you-er than you!" - Dr.Suess ❤
Mrs. Mei showed us different color cars. We learned the Mandarin word for car and reviewed the colors. The class also listened to music and sang some cute Mandarin songs about a frog and our favorite song about the sneezing elephant!
Miss Lisa played a fun rhythm game in Music. The Quarter Notes matched the notes to our Blue Jello game strips.
Miss Becca helped us with our violin feet positions and the parts of the violin.
Please remember to sign your child in at drop off. The attendance sheet helps us know when your child arrived and how many children are in class that day. Thank you!
😊 Have a great weekend! 😊
