THANKSGIVING 11/16-20

                  🦃🥧 THANKSGIVING 🥧🦃

It's almost Thanksgiving. Although this year looks very different, the Quarter Notes are still creating traditional crafts and exploring language and math activities with a Thanksgiving theme. We talked about things we are grateful for and happy for as a group.

The class topped their pumpkin pies with the corresponding number of whipped cream (cotton balls). We played a matching Thanksgiving memory game, copied Thanksgiving vocabulary words, and made maze by dipping bubble wrap into paint and stamping it onto precut paper pieces.

We created turkey crowns for our Thanksgiving Feast. The turkeys were pretty cute and did a wonderful job performing.

Mandarin: Learning to say the names of the members of our family (Mom, Dad, older or younger brother/sister, etc.). Animal guessing game.

Music: Practiced for our socially distanced Thanksgiving concert. Performed/recorded concert Friday. Pointed to parts of the violin and learned how to pick up our violin, use chin rest, violin and bow hand .

Sports: Kicked soccer balls, yoga, jumping over small hurdles.

* Reminder: Suzuki will close at 1:00 on Wednesday,  November 23rd.

*Please read Deb's email regarding Covid Protocols for out of state guests and traveling during Thanksgiving.

* There will be a sign up sheet for Wednesday's Thanksgiving feast located outside of the Quarter Notes door.  Thank you for your contributions!

*Sleeping mats/blankets will go home next Tuesday.

                  😊  Have a great weekend! 😊
