Gingerbread 12/14-18

                🍭🏠🍫 GINGERBREAD 🍫🏠🍭

The Quarter Notes have been crafting up a storm.  The class has enjoyed making gingerbread houses, gingerbread men, special gifts, and playing with playdough. Speaking of storms, woah.....what a lot of snow. ❄ Is it summer yet?

We've been reading the book, The Gingerbread Man during circle time.  I turned the story into a board game. The children learned how to roll the dice and count the dots. They then moved their "candy" pieces on the gum drop trail. The goal of the game is for the Gingerbread Man to get back to his gingerbread house.

We will continue our gingerbread theme, lighting the last menorah candle and Christmas next week.

Mandarin: Sang songs, counted, and learned more colors and clothing items.

Music: Practiced Hannukah and Christmas songs. Mississippi Stop Stop and ringing jingle bells to the beat. Blue Jello game.

No Violin or Sports.

              😊 Have a great extended weekend! 😊
