❤πValentine's Day/Lunar New Year π❤
The Quarter Notes have had THREE parties this week! We celebrated Rose's 3rd birthday on Tuesday, Valentine's Day on Thursday, and Lunar New Year on Friday. You have most likely picked up some tired children. π
π HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROSE! π
Throughout the week we decorated our Valentine's Day bags and cards with markers and stickers. The class also made dragons using grocery store sushi containers, construction paper, glue and glitter. They came out really cute! A picture of everyone's work is below.
There is always playdough available for fine motor skills. This week we used foam stickers and heart shaped cookie cutters to keep with our theme. The children cut out pictures of roses from a catalog with scissors, and glued them to construction paper hearts.
The class practiced their writing skills and wrote, I LOVE YOU, inside of Valentine's Day cards for you! They were so proud of themselves. ❤❤❤
Our Valentine's Day party was a sweet success π. How cute are these 7 little love bugs?
The Quarter Notes had a wonderful Lunar New Year party! I needed a naptime by Friday. π
*ENJOY YOUR WINTER BREAK! We will return to school on Monday, February 22nd.
❤ THANK YOU FOR ALL THE CARDS, FLOWERS, and GOODIES. ❤ I gave each child a little gift bag at the bottom of their decorated bags.
Mandarin: Lion dance video. Learned how to say Happy New Year and Ox. Celebrated Lunar New Year on Friday.
