Gingerbread Man/Christmas

               🎄 Gingerbread Man/ Christmas 🎄

Run, run, as fast as you can! Santa's coming to town!!! The Quarter Notes have been pretty excited all week. The week back after vacation will be just as wiggly. 😂 We got rid of some excess energy by taking the class outside in the cold and having some Christmas music dance parties.

The Quarter Notes had a party on Thursday.  We decorated strawberries with whipped cream, and made delicious Santa Claus hats. 🎅  It was so much fun!

*Please remember to bring in gloves for little hands. We've been putting socks on some children during those extra cold days! 🥶 Thank you!

Gingerbread Counting was made extra fun by wrapping art trays with tin foil. Everyone had fun baking, recognizing numbers, and putting the numbers in order.

The first day of Winter was Tuesday, the 21st. ❄ We celebrated by having a special calender time and singing songs.

The gingerbread houses were painted and decorated with "candy" (pony beads). They look beautiful and the children were so proud of their houses. Everyone did a wonderful job!

The Quarter Notes loved reading Santa Baby, The Grinch, and Angelina's Christmas during the week.  📚

We hope you enjoy your homemade presents your littles made for you! They are so proud to have finished their picture frames and practicing their early handwriting skills for you! Each card says, I LOVE YOU (front) and your child's name inside.  The children decorated the cards all over with some stickers. It was great to see the children excited about writing. They worked so hard to carefully trace the outline of each letter. Way to go, Quarter Notes. We're so proud of you! 👏 ❤

We will welcome a new classmate on Monday, January 3rd.  Can't wait to be a class of nine!

THANK YOU FAMILIES FOR THE THOUGHTFUL GIFTS AND CARD. WE APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH!

🎄 MANDARIN: Learned to say Santa, Merry Christmas, presents, named color of bulbs and put the decorations on the tree on a computer game. Christmas Baby Shark video in Mandarin.

Pintetest fail! Our finished product wasn't very Pinterest worthy, but the Quarter Notes still loved our strawberry and whipped cream Santa Claus hats.

This is what our Santa Claus hats should have looked like. 🤔
