🎨 ART SHOW 🎨
It's finally happening! The Art Show will be held outside this Sunday, May 2nd from 12:00-3:00. The children have worked so hard and are excited to have you see what they've created. Below are some teaser pictures to entice you. 😊 The Quarter Notes exhibits will have examples of Notre Dame, complete with the rose window, Greek columns, Japanese artist, Hiroshige, and Dutch master, Rachel Ruysch. Don't forget to read your child's artistic bio. They are very professional preschoolers! We hope to see you and your family there. 😊
The Quarter Notes were very excited to see how tall their pollinator seeds have grown. We look at them every day to see how big they're growing and compliment our friends on their seedlings success. 🌱
We practiced our letter writing by tracing the words, ART, SHOW, and FUN with white board markers and wrote our names inside of Spring tulips. Everyone has their own bag of floam. We squished the floam into shapes and animals to strengthen the muscles in our hands, and prepare us for early handwriting skills next year in the Half Notes classroom.

* The weather is getting warmer! (Yay!) Layers and short sleeves and/or lighter jackets/sweatshirts are recommended.
* PICTURE DAY IS TUESDAY, MAY 4th. 📷 The Quarter Notes will have their pictures taken at 9:30 sharp. Please arrive before 9:20 to ensure we stay on schedule. Thank you! 😊
Mandarin: Tree song. Repeating previous vocabulary words. Mrs. Mei asked the class what color cars their family had. Each child answered her in Mandarin. We tallied/counted the results.
Music: Rythms and animals. I Can Hear the Rain song and Carnival Animals. Mississippi Stop Stop.
Sports: Yoga, Old MacDonald, throwing and kicking a ball.
