Winter and Christmas 12/21-23

             🎅🎁 Winter and Christmas 🎁🎅

Thank you so much Quarter Note and Suzuki preschool parents. Your video and children are adorable! We really appreciate you and your generosity.  Hope you have a happy and safe holiday season.  ❤

It was a short, but busy week. The Quarter Notes worked so hard to create the snowscapes for the mugs, decorations and writing Mom, Dad, I LOVE YOU, and their names on the cards.

If you're anything like me, you'll cherish these treasures year after year. I may or may not have an extra large Tupperware tub filled with James and April's preschool artwork.  My Christmas tree definitely reflects this.

The class practiced AB and ABC patterning with velcro Christmas lights.

We welcomed a new season on December 21st. Winter! ❄ The class learned about winter during circle time. We read books on winter, snow, and hibernation.

Everyone had fun dancing and singing Christmas carols and Hannukah songs.  Due to the snow, we finished lighting the last Menorah candle this week. The class was very excited to have a party on Wednesday during our morning snack time. There were a lot of green frosting mustaches.

Mrs. Leary took a video of the kids singing some Christmas carols. She emailed you a link.  They really remembered those dance moves.

I added pictures of my cats, Pickle, Acorn,  and Cupid to the blog. Yes, I dressed them up as elves. That's normal, right? 😂

Our classroom will welcome a new friend in January.  The Quarter Notes will become a group of seven. We can't wait.

Mandarin: Sang our counting song (the Q.N. are getting really good at it!). Learned words for snowman, Santa, Christmas tree, reindeer,  and presents. Practiced saying colors.

No Music or Sports.

Have a wonderful winter break and a Happy New Year! Hopefully, 2021 will bring only good things. Looking forward to seeing everyone on January 4th.
