ART SHOW PREP 2/22-26th

ART SHOW PREP and BACK FROM VACATION FUN

It's great to be back at Suzuki! The next few weeks we'll be preparing for the Art Show on May 2nd. Some of the photos are a sneak peak, but the final results will remain a mystery.  The Quarter Notes have been busy creating and putting the different pieces together.  🎨🖌🖼

Table activies have been exclusively about numbers and letters. It's hard to believe February is almost over and Spring is almost here.

Next week is Dr. Suess'  birthday.  We will celebrate with fun activities and silly Suess books.

The class made an Alphabet book out of worksheets. We colored in the illustrations and worked on letters and their sounds.

We rolled playdough into long snakes with rolling pins and our hands to make letters.

The Quarter Notes had fun using the magic wand to learn how to spell the word, spell. There is a fun song that we sang to help us spell the word and the sound each letter makes. Ask your child to sing it to you! 😊

Mandarin: Learned words for hair, cutting hair washing, washing hair, and washing hands. Sang songs with vocab words. Lantern festival video.

Music: Rythm sticks, Blue Jello, and Mississippi Stop Stop.

Sports: Throwing, pretended to be animals on a farm.

Happy 元宵節 yuán xiāo jié (Lantern Festival)!!

Here is a little clip about hair in Mandarin! 😊
