🐸 LEAPING INTO THE HALF NOTES 🐸
Congratulations Quarter Notes and families! You did it! You successfully made it through a pandemic school year! We washed hands, masks, socially distanced ourselves from friends, loved ones and coworkers, home schooled on Zoom.....then finally received our vaccinations.
I couldn't have asked for a better class. No one ever complained or argued about wearing a mask or keeping it on for many hours throughout the school day. ❤ The only draw back to that was covering up their sweet faces after mealtimes. I'm so happy to get to see smiles and cute dimples again! (The QN class have lots of cute dimples!)
I am grateful to have had a younger sibling of a former student this year, and look forward to three siblings that are in my class next year. I also welcome a "normal" Senior and Sophomore year experience for James and April. 💙💙
This week was mainly about bonding, dancing, and getting our room and cubbies cleaned out and ready for camp, and the upcoming 2021-22 school year.
Don't worry Dads, we didn't forget about you! We made cards with an adorable flame painted handprint, grill and hamburgers out of construction paper. Happy early Father's Day! 😊
We celebrated Deb on Wednesday and Jackie and Rolene's Retirement on Thursday. You will all be missed. ❤❤❤
Mandarin: Repeating learned vocabulary, small sentences, learned Five Little Monkeys song with finger puppets.
Music: NO MUSIC. Violin: Ms. Lisa recorded our songs for our final performance.
Sports: Rainbow strings and bikes.
* All sleeping bags will be sent home on Thursday.
* Friday, June 18th there is a NOON time dismissal. We will meet up at the park for some farewell fun!
WISHING YOU ALL A
SAFE AND FUN SUMMER!
😊 Alison Dressler 😊
